Ogoni Music and Arts Award
OMAA is an annual awarding non profit initiative, from South South region, Nigeria, founded in 2020. The name is dedicated to the ogonis, a minority tribe in Rivers state Nigeria, also recognizes outstanding excellence in the Music scene celebrating Fresh and new artists in Music, arts, comedy, Media and Talent production.

Promote, honor and recognize excellence in the recording arts and sciences, cultivate the well-being of every music Creator, ensuring that music remains non-ending part of our culture.
Our Vission
To have artistry enabling environment where creators see opportunity to clinch upward, providing workable concepts and innovative solutions to artist’s success barriers, building a space where artists connect to their peers in the other world. This gear us to run our Mission; ‘Bringing dreams to reality’. Most of all. become world most sought after.

We stand for the rights of all music creators and ensure Better-music policy at all levels.

We put the OMAA awards- the single most coveted accolade in Africa music industry. And we recognize the contributions of all music creators throughout the year.

We inspire and encourage the young and aspire music creators and professionals by providing meaningful opportunity, promote, enrichment, and mentorship.

We are intentional participating in service, to honor artists, share love of music and prioritize community in all we do.

As nonprofit organisation we seek to honor the exemplary, hardworking, dedicated, determined, consistent and greatly talented artists who is on a Verge to take up career in Music and barely get the embrace, opportunities and support he/she deserves especially in the main stream media and events space. Our visions are championed to Recognize and celebrate exemplary rated underrated talents and performers and push them into the music stardom. We dear to discovers the untapped talent among the many uprising groups of artistes. Also We empower the new generation of artistes by exposing them to beneficial opportunities. Most importantly
We mentor fresh artistes in the industry through informative and educative forums and activities.

It doesn’t just make us to think, but, think outside of the box and beyond our environment. To innovate constantly. Finding a new way to reaching every artist’s dream. That keeps us from falling into the “it is impossible” mentality. To ensure that we’re constantly emerging and improving – with a determined bias to take up new challenge for action. We are confident enough to take on any endeavor, but also humble enough to know that there is always room for more and improvement.
DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION are the unique part of our community, we celebrate both gospel and circular music creators, because we know that “like” great music, success requires bringing together different voices. We try to be as inclusive as the music and creators we represent. We challenge the individual but we celebrate the team.

After successful editions in 2021, & 2022 OMAA awards have thought far gained resonance and relevance in the Africa music industry due to our unique approach in addressing issues face by new artists in Africa with a key focus on – Shaping the culture of content production by promoting the ideas among these artists.
BUSINESS SUBMITS
We’re not only interested to award artists but also to be part of their music journey. Play part in their growth and management. With our Music Empowerment Summits we dear to discussing issues and challenges face by these artists. More so, we explore possible remedies for artist growth, introducing them to beneficial prospects e.g. mentorship, production opportunities, sponsors and promoters.
OMAA events are backed up by a wide bank of creative knowledge and group of professionals, the best art to fully capture colorful ceremonial images. This involves high quality mediums for both hardware and software set-ups to achieve both impact and attractive experiences.
